because feminists are still seen as crazy lesbians who dont shave and some still feel like they have to defend themselves by claiming theyre not any of those things when in fact if i want to be a passionate lady who likes other ladies and cant be bothered to shave my legs every twenty minutes then thats my choice and if i want to be someone who wears make up and shaves and goes out partying then thats my choice and if i want to be a combination of the two or anything in between then thats. my. choice.

Today the EMT had to come to me because I passed out at the competition. That’s always humiliating enough as is, but people started to crowd around a bit and I had to tell them all the medicine I take…. and then they asked why I take all those meds which is embarrassing to explain and so I just kind of cried awkwardly and everyone was either freaked out or pitying me. It almost ruined my weekend but I won’t let it because other than that I had a great weekend. ;0;

Just got home from robotics! Had a great weekend and placed high. Won a few awards which was cool. There was one super not rad thing, but I wouldn’t let it ruin my weekend!
I really love Amethyst because she’s fat and clearly eats a ton of junk food, but other characters don’t treat her like her weight is something that holds her back. She still kicks ass and saves the world with the other gems, and isn’t less athletic because of her body type. Not only that, but she can bust some sick moves on the dance floor.
In general I just love the diverse body types in Steven Universe, whether is be Pearl’s tall and slender build, Amethyst’s short and fat physique, or Garnet’s tall and muscled body.
I know that sounds cheesy, but hear me out. Like. Not even like boisterous confidence, since that’s cool too. But just like… I love when people are able to just look at themselves and say, “I may not be what I want to be now, but I’m improving and that’s great.” Or “I am what I want to be now, and I’m going to keep being me!”
Just that feeling of confidence that whether you’re where you want to be or not, you’re ready and willing to keep moving forward and do what makes you know yourself.
So yeah, confidence is more stunning than any body part.
Whether it’s a quiet, “I’m getting there, and that’s okay.” Or a loud, “I am there, I am me, and I am fabulous!” I just love confidence. Confidence is wonderful, even if there’s just enough to give you hope or keep you going.
what pisses me off is when girls are literally sexist towards their own gender. in my civics class we were asked why we never had a female president and all the girls said it was because we pms. wtf? wtf is that shit? and then when girls say that other girls shouldnt participate in no shave november its like? wtf?
