Oooh, that Pokemon thing sounds really cool!!!!!! You totally have to share it here when you're done!! (I am the biggest Pokemon newbie though, like I just started watching it over the summer [4 seasons in I believe, Team Rocket is best], and I only ever played Emerald [I did beat the game though, and I only ever trained up like my starter, ha ha ha ha, he was like level 80 or something, it was pretty crazy but it all worked out in the end]!)
