Today I learned that Washington, my state, is one of seven that doesn’t allow a lower minimum wage for tipped workers. God bless you, Washington. ;u;

Fun fact: Minimum wage is currently about $9.37 here, and they’re going to raise it again soon, I think. O.o Obviously Seattle is already pushing for a $15 minimum wage which I hate with a fiery passion, but that’s beside the point.

Yay for not paying waitresses and hair stylists less and assuming they’ll live off of tips. ;u;
