to go along with Movie Triggers, there is also a website called “Does The Dog Die“ that lists movies and tells you whether or not an animal [of any kind, not just dogs] dies or is injured in the film.



i highly recommend this for people who get really really upset by animal death in films; at least now it wont be a surprise or you’ll know to stay away from it entirely.
