It was murder and that’s the bottom line. There’s no neutrality here, there’s no room for questions. If you’re questioning that then you need to think about dismantling the internalized racism that is rotting you. The police officer willfully choked a black man to death. A man who wasn’t fighting back. A man who said “I can’t breathe” 11 times. Fuck you if you think there’s any way to try and spin this.
