I firmly believe that healthy comes in ALL sizes.

However, that size varies from person to person.

For me, that size wasn’t where I am now, and my genetics crippled my ability to obtain healthy.

So, although there are plenty of people in this world who are perfectly healthy at 240 lb, that’s not me and that’s why I chose to have this surgery and lose the weight.

It’s not about looks, it’s not giving in to society, but it’s for my health. 

I just wanted to clear this up because I am in remission from an ED, and choosing to have the gastric sleeve wasn’t another attempt of that same vein.

And while I believe I need to lose weight for my health, I don’t believe anyone else should have to, since I don’t know anyone’s health status but my own, and I know that there are plenty of people at my current size and above that are perfectly healthy.
