• age/parent influence
• being “in the closet”
• mental and/or physical disability
• financial ability/transportation (who buys the signs, who pays for gas?)
• fear/safety (people who advocate offline face threat of violence and death, especially activists of color and trans women)

things that aren’t reasons that online activists don’t advocate offline:

• laziness
