why do all fictional demons ever always have that drawling, sexy, sarcastic voice when they’re trying to convince people to do something?

Like, who’s not going to see through that? They’d probably convince more people to do stuff if they were just calm and kind and sounded like a friendly authority with your best interests in mind.

All demons should sound like Obama or Mr. Rogers or Bill Nye just saying.
