Do not stay in a retail store or restaurant past closing time. I mean unless you’re just finishing up paying and it’s like 5 mins after. It’s rude. I know the people who work there say, “oh no it’s ok”. They’re lying. It’s not ok they just have to say that.

I am obligated as a cashier to say “Oh, it’s fine!”.
It ain’t.
I have stuff to do and if you stay after closing, that means I get off work late because there’s side work I can’t do while there are customers in the lobby.
There were nights when I got off work over a half hour late because people came in and ordered a meal literally three minutes before closing.
If you’re that person, you are obnoxious and I hope you step on a thousand Legos, you ass.
