Well, after tossing and turning for four hours I’ve deduced that I am not sleeping tonight, unless I conk out at this very second for the next two hours.
Also it’s almost 5 a.m. and I’m emailing the local LUSH store because I want to work there and not at a fast food restaurant TBH. .-. Highly doubt I could get a job there since IDK if they’re even hiring, but it’s worth a shot and I’m feeling a little ballsy.
Email below the cut so you can laugh at how I write at 5am after no sleep.
Dear LUSH Bellevue Management,
I am emailing you to inquire about any potential part-time job openings in your store. I am a student looking to further my experience in various facets of the work force, namely in companies and businesses that I am both a customer of and staunch supporter of their values. Naturally, LUSH fits the bill without a doubt. Although still young, I have extensive experience with both customer service, and working with organizations that align with the LUSH values and ideals. My recent work experience includes being an intern at the Christian Veterinary Mission, volunteering at the PAWS animal shelter, and working at Taco Time (a fast food establishment that prides itself on using only fresh and local ingredients). In addition, I believe that my work experience would compensate for my limited work hours that are an inherent obstacle of hiring students. If you are open to applications at this time, I can send an official cover letter and resume right away. Particularly, I am mostly looking for a long Saturday shift, and I can rearrange my schedule if necessary. I feel as though LUSH would be a perfect workplace for myself, and even if you have no openings at this time, I would be grateful if I could be notified as to when there are positions available. Thank you so much for your time, and have a great day! Sincerely, Jack Ramirez
