TDC Passing the Torch
A thing I was writing based on the first episode of TDC. I wondered how it would be if all the TDC folk gave their advice?
“Live, love, and let loose!” Kelsey cheered with a big thumbs up.
“Remember to update your blog.” Cleo said, looking as though that was the most wisdom she’d ever imparted on another human being.
“Trust me, things will get crazy.” Jodie tried to admonish them as they passed by.
“Don’t take things personally; it’s just business.” Buzz warned them.
“Be true to who you are; you’re capable of so much more than you think.” Jamie whispered with reassurance.
“Always leave time for tea!” Felix interjected.
“Even if you make mistakes, hold your head high and look good doing it!” Amethyst struck a pose as she gave her advice.
“Put on a show they’ll never forget.” Zackari suggested with a smirk.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover.” Somber huffed the cliche phrase with crossed arms.
“Just because you don’t stand out doesn’t mean you’re not uniquely amazing.” Eleanor said, smiling as she handed a scarf to one of the passerby newbies.
“Don’t let others define you.” Juniper offered, hands on hips.
“Stay true to y'all’s roots!” Roxanne urged with a friendly smile.
“Just take it easy, I guess.” David shrugged.
“Fuck it, be a little evil.” Alexander grumbled and shrugged.
“Be wild!” Sofia exclaimed with a laugh.
“Shoot for the moon!” Ringo insisted jubilantly.
“Celebrate even the smallest accomplishments.” Rodney said, showing off his boy scout vest.
“Just be yourself, y'know?” Caroline added, grinning slightly.
“You’re braver than you might think.” Derek chimed in softly.
“Be passionate about those who matter.” Sonny said with a serious look.
“Never give up on the people who wouldn’t give up on you.” Malina added with a tender smile.
“You don’t have to make enemies; be a diplomat!” Ariale advised them.
“It’s never too late to change.” Adelia implored honestly.
“And remember, it’s possible to find magic in even the harshest realities.” Bastien insisted with a wink, passing the torch along.
