Heads Up
If you’re going to see Kingsman (which I HIGHLY recommend as it is a BRILLIANT movie and in my top favorites) I’d Wait until the previews are OVER before going into the theater. There is a HUGE jumpscare for Insidious 3 that isn’t hinted or warned towards. There is an extremely loud shriek and flashing lights and it’s genuinely terrifying. I don’t know if all trailers before Kingsman are the same but it happened in my theater and I just wanted to be safe.
And even if you aren’t going to see Kingsman, if there is a trailer that starts with a teen girl in a wheelchair with a broken leg, it will look like a teen romance or something but THAT IS THE TRAILER FOR INSIDIOUS and I HIGHLY suggest leaving the theater for a minute or two if you are triggered or scared by that stuff. It’s bullshit that the creators didn’t put any warning on the scare given that it’s a TRAILER, so I’m giving it now.
