A long time ago I was speculating about whether or not the reason Pearl asks Steven if he remembers how to warp in “Cheeseburger Backpack” was not so much because she was asking him but because she was asking his gem (Rose). So when Pearl asked if he had any of Rose’s memories in “Rose’s Scabbard” I was reminded of it.

It’s not unlikely that he had warped before, of course, its just curious and given that we’ve now seen that Pearl wonders whether or not her can remember what Rose has experience, I think its possible she is asking if he remembers it from when he (or part of him) was Rose.
