Okay I know this is really dumb but I hate it when people say “You don’t like [x]? Who hurt you????” in response to someone saying they don’t like something arbitrary, like a certain band or a certain whatever.

This is me being overly sensitive about most things, but it just rubs me the wrong way. I guess to me it kind of trivializes how people often start to hate seemingly random things because of an abuser- I personally HATE ((and am even a bit triggered by)) certain TV shows and even certain kinds of cell phones because of the man who abused me.

So I guess this is a dumb little plea to not be like “lmao who hurt you?” if someone doesn’t like the same thing as you. ;;;;
