I got her on Monday! My psychiatrist literally prescribed me a dog, so I met with the disabilities resources department and the employee that helped me get my housing accommodations approved a therapy/comfort dog! I went to the shelter and picked out a couple of easygoing dogs that were 2 or older, and after going through the paperwork for four dogs, I decided I wanted to meet Peaches- we clicked instantly, and I put a hold on her on Friday, then picked her up Monday. C: Honestly, she has greatly improved my mood- at the very least she helps me de-stress by petting her, and she loved to be on the couch with me and sleep in my bed- she’s clingy and that’s exactly what I want.
