Danny I had this cool, uhm, improv teacher named Gary Austin who, like, used to...he was like, "This is gonna help you in improv but also in life. Uh, there's this thing I use every day. It's called the fuck-it adjustment. And the fuck it adjustment is just simply 'fuck it'."
Arin Woah.
Danny Yeah. It's awesome. Any time you're like having trouble in your life, you're like "Oh yeah, the fuck-it adjustment!" And you use it and it works.
Arin Wait so...
Danny ...Yeah?
Arin Is there anything more complicated than what I think it is?
Danny Nope.
Arin O-oh.
Danny Just like, "This game's too hard. Better use the fuck-it adjustment...FUCK IT." Play a different game.
Arin Wait, so how do you use it in improv?
Danny Oh. Uhm.
Arin When you have a bit that's not working out you're just like "fuck it."
Danny Yep. Exactly.
Arin So you, like, move on or you just say fuck it?
Danny Yeah. Yeah you just say fuck it just do something good. Dude, it's like do something better don't worry about the shit that's not goin' right. In your life. And in your comedy.
