So for those of you who don’t know, I go to a Christian school (which isn’t a bad thing, considering I’m a Christian, but some of the people there are… well, flat out assholes or intolerant).

In one of her classes, my friend had to write an essay (I wasn’t sure of the criteria, to be honest), and she chose transgender rights.

I think that’s hella ballsy considering that most of the students and a large portion of the faculty are against LGBTQ+ since it conflicts with their beliefs. Also, she was quick to point out just how terrible things are for trans* people right now, what rights we have that are constantly being ignored, and other things of the like. I thought it was a pretty good essay, and it made me happy to see her passionate about the subject even if it didn’t directly affect her (as she is cishet).

So basically I just wanted to give props to her because she’s rad. OuO
