PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS AND SHARE THIS.

Aki-Con wants to hide this under the rug, they have blamed the victim and called her a liar, and DJ Victor is NOT to be trusted. He is a known felon, who has raped two known girls now, but who knows how many others who have not spoken up of this. All I ask is that you reblog this and get this attention out there.

Share it with local news media stations, other convention goers, etc.

imakecostumesandstuff

I actually tried to warn Aki-Con about this man being a felon and they ignored me.

And guess what?

Another innocent girl got RAPED because they ignored the facts.

Not only that, but they IGNORED the girl and tried to say she was lying when she immediately went to staff for help.

EDIT: So, Victor Malice is a part of a cosplay group with around 400 members, give or take.

Which is still a very small part of the pacific northwest and Seattle cosplay community. Out of safety and concern for the members, I shared the post about this situation to the group.

The admins are friends with Victor Malice and DELETED THE POST as to HIDE what happened to people.
IGNORING WARNINGS IS WHAT GOT US HERE, PEOPLE.

If Aki-Con had heeded the warning they received and dropped him as their DJ, then a girl would NOT have been raped by him at Aki-Con 2013.

I personally find it SICKENING that his friends are being his accomplices and are trying to hide these facts from everyone.
This includes the Aki-Con staff that are his friends and knew his past,
This includes the cosplay group admins that are his friends and knew his past,
This includes any of the people who knew his true nature and kept quiet about this. All of this. And even now, they are trying to hide it.

LADIES, PLEASE KEEP YOUR GUARDS UP AT ALL TIMES.
Bad things CAN HAPPEN AT CONVENTIONS.
I will tell you this to the end of the world, because I don’t believe in hiding these facts. I don’t think it is “protecting” anyone in anyway to try and hide what happened. So yes, against their wishes, I will help spread the word about this poor girl and anyone else who may have been victimized by him.
Why?
Because I don’t want to see the numbers increased by fools who tried to hide the truth about people who are like DJ Victor Malice.

This isn’t just about one man having done this, this is about making sure people know these kinds of things do happen at conventions.

As a dedicated attendee of Aki Con, I’m disgusted. Aki Con is the only convention I can afford to go to each year, but if this guy is welcomed on the premises, like hell I’m going back to Aki Con.

Signal boosting the shit out of this!

Thank you for your signal boost, and I’m really sorry to hear about that.
IF you can afford Sakura-Con, newCon (which is in Portland) or Kumoricon, those are GREAT anime conventions-from what I hear.

(Sakura is amazing) Also the tickets are 35$ if you buy a year in advance for twice as much event coverage and stuff that you get at aki. I know the hotels are more expensive, but there is always the option to stay with friends, split the cost of a hotel room, or carpool.
Also the staff of Sakura are always friendly and helping. I’ve never had a terrible experience.

Thank you very much for the suggestions!

I’ve wanted to go to Sakura Con since I was 12, but my mom won’t let me since it’s in the busiest part of Seattle. XD I’ll be able to go next year, though, as I’ll be 18 then.

I’ve heard of Kumori, and that it’s a wonderful convention. ouo Money is a factor, as is me not having a license, but I can work things out if I don’t return to Aki Con.

All in all, I’m just glad the word is getting out about this, because I had no idea!
