I’m talking to my friend right now. She’s adamant in making him feel welcome and not left out. Which, I’m not one to exclude people, but there comes a point where his opinion isn’t an opinion anymore– it’s oppression.
The lunch table is my ONE safe space at school because I go to a Christian school where I can’t be out about being genderqueer/trans*, though at the lunch table I’m called Jack, the correct pronouns are used, and I’m with hella rad, accepting people. For my mental health, I can’t let anyone fuck that up.
