Jack was a bit surprised at the question. <<Is it possible to have naturally purple hair?>> he thought, but didn’t dare ask. “It’s dyed.” he said, realizing he’d been silent for quite a while. “I got it put in last year, since purple is my favorite color.” he added, not wanting to seem standoffish with a two word response.
