This whole Total Drama Tumblr thing is interesting.

It’s different because the other RP forums/threads I’ve gotten into were all distinctly fantasy (Naruto and Pokemon, for example), so now that I’m RP-ing Total Drama, I feel bad for veering too far out of the realm of reality? It just seems weird, because although Total Drama twists reality for slapstick humor, they never really delve into fantasty. It’s all reality, pretty much (except a Slenderman cameo but maybe that was just an Easter Egg? IDK). So even though I have years of experience in developing and playing fantasy characters, I’m not sure if that’s kosher in this AU. Part of me thinks not, but I’ve seen other charries go borderline fantasy? I’m just afraid of stepping into Mary Sure and/or GodMod territory (which I did once when I was 12 and looking back I’m so ashamed like wow my character was way too powerful and God-Moddy, and she had ties to several characters in the show like hi nice to meet you I’m 10 red flags). So there’s a lot to think about in developing Jack. I can’t just do as I damn well please.

It’s a refreshing challenge.~
