What do you use for the confessional background? I can’t even backgrounds. ;n;

In sai, I open up this picture:

Then add two layers. I draw the base on the middle layer. Linework goes on the top layer. When I finish with the linework, I clear the base layer. The base layer after it is cleared is my color layer.
