Fitz was in a terrible mood. Nobody liked him, he liked nobody, and everyone on his team was unoriginal and soft. He wandered through the woods, so lost in thought he forgot how he got in there in the first place. He particularly hated Jack. He seemed to sensitive and kind to ever get even close to winning. He reminded Fitz of that kid from school that spent most of his time trying to get out of the trash can.
Jack was looking around the island, and decided to explore the forest now that it was daytime. Claire had gone off on her own, so he was alone at the time. He toyed with a spinner ring on his finger as he gazed at the tree canopies. He wasn’t even paying attention to where he was going at this point.
Fitz say only a flash of purple before colliding with Jack. “What the hell?!” He yelled as he glared at the boy.
When Jack bumped into Fritz, he stumbled backward slightly in shock.
“I’m sorry! I wasn’t watching where I was going.” he blurted, then looked to see who it was he bumped into. He saw Fritz and was a bit surprised. “Oh, good morning.” he said simply.
“Sup.” Fitz said, still pissed. Jack was not on his good side at the moment.
Jack sensed his irritation, and wondered if he shold just leave him be. “So, how are you?” he asked more out of politeness than anything.
