Rosie had wandered back to her favorite resting place in the forest which was near a big rock that she could sit on. Settling down gently on it and pressing out the wrinkles in her skirt, she sighed sadly and stared at her little leg band. Kicking her leg out in the air, she scowled at it angrily. “Stupid dog.”
Jack was meandering through the forest that afternoon, when he caught sight of Rosie. He walked towards her, though paused when she seemed angry. However, he continued towards her. “Er, hey Rosie!” he greeted her. “What’s up?”
