Okay so I've seen " trans* " with that lil asterisk a few times on here and I'm not entirely sure of the meaning. Does it just mean transgender or something else? If you don't mind me asking I'm just sitting here confused at 1am heh ^^
Well, transgender doesn’t just apply to FtM and MtF people. Transgender is both an identity and a blanket term for many identities. For example, genderfluid people are technically transgender, as are bigender and agender people. Anything other than cisgender is transgender in the blanket term. To put a symbol to that blanket term, a lot of people use trans*, so show that it’s more than just transsexual. ouo I am one of those people.
