Bonus Tiddly Bit #3:

Jack was stretching in P.E. and was cracking his back, but he accidentally dislocated a vertebrae and had to wear a back brace for six weeks.

In elementary school, Jack had to play an Oregon Trail simulator in computer class, and each of his traveling companions were named after family members. When his mom died of dysentry in the game, he had to leave the classroom because he was crying so hard at the thought of his mom dying.
