As the webcam flickered on, there was an extreme close up of a bowtie. “Ah, yes, it should be on now.” a man murmured to himself. The bowtie then grew further from the camera as the wearer became visible. “Hello there, internet.” a tall, handsome man in a top hat greeted, giving a wave with his gloved hand. “My name is Bastien Ferris O’Shay, and I am auditioning for Total Drama City.” he introduced himself cordially, giving a slight bow.
“Now, there are many reasons that I ought to be accepted onto the show.” he began, clapping his hands, and suddenly there was a list in his hands. “I am a master illusionist, offering skills nobody else could possibly boast.” he said, snapping his fingers and the list seemingly disappeared. He chuckled. “Oh, that? That was just my grocery list.” he joked before continuing on. “Nevertheless, if you accept me onto the show, I am positively assured to bring amazement and excitement in tow. I will find myself victorious, and you’ll get to come along the journey with me.” he said suavely, and he gave a turn, pulling a rose out of thin air. “So then, will you accept me into the motley crew?” he extended the rose towards the camera, as if to give it to the audience.
