Anonymous asks:
when did you realize you were genderqueer or is it something you've always known?
I started questioning my gender around 4th grade, but I couldn’t put a name to how I felt. I didn’t hate being a “girl”, but I didn’t identify as being female. I was raised in a strict Christian family, though, so I ended up only hating everything and becoming a terribly close-minded person out of denial.
I heard about what genderqueer was about two years ago, and it just seemed to make sense to me. It’s hard to explain because even now I doubt myself sometimes, since I do have “female” days. It’s really confusing living as a “third gender”, but it’s something I simply know as a fact.
I’m sorry if this wasn’t explained well; I’m rather tired. XD
God Bless!
