Okay, this has already been said a dozen times, but here’s why I can’t get behind Chrindsay.

1. The age gap.

This should go without saying. Chris is presumed to be 36, as his birth year is 1978. Lindsay is (at most) 19, as TDROTI was said to be three years after TDI. That’s insane. I don’t care if that makes Lindsay technically at the age of consent, that’s a 17 year age gap. CHRIS IS ALMOST TWICE HER AGE.

2. Even if they were the same age…

Christian Potenza went on record to say that if Chris were a contestant (and therefore the age of the contestant’s) he would obviously be with Lindsay for “obvious reasons”, which are purely physical.

3. Which means,

If Chrinsday were to exist, ignoring age, it would still be Chris manipulating and using a girl for her body and body alone. Hi, nice to meet you, I’m a red flag.

4. Not to mention,

Lindsay isn’t that smart. That’s how she is written, and she would be more than likely unaware of Chris’ real intentions. She would be being completely played by him.

5. And if she were to find out why Chris was really dating her,

I bet you anything she would not want to be with him. She would not consent to doing anything with him for just her body. That would be SO out of character for her.

So in summary:

-Age gap. 17 years.

-Chris would be using her for her body.

-It would be artificial consent because Lindsay isn’t aware of the correct pretenses.

-Seriously I am very rarely hateful of a ship but this makes my skin crawl.
