Post Traumatic Stress Disorder…

What happens when you walked to the top of the scale?

What can you do when there is no cure or treatment because the cause is a deep root of your personality and you’re exposed to your fear all the time?

You develop defenses… and with time some of them solve most of the problems.

But what happens when the trigger is so strong that defenses don’t take the hit?

You develop a panic attack. Probably a severe phobia too.

Suddenly the air doesn’t flow. You can’t breathe and you’re choking. At the same time you start to have a strong nausea and you feel like a knife is going through your chest hitting the heart. You may fall in a fetal position. Your body is taking life protective measures, in self-preserving mode.

In some cases the emotional pain can be so severe that your brain can’t take it anymore and you become numb.

But usually it will only take 10 minutes or a few hours.

The pain will go away. Until it returns or you treat this condition.

Do you have a fear of pain?
