i always wonder if Garnet’s so chill with Steven all the time because she was like him as a kid. a little silly, a little goofy, but well meaning.
she always smiles at him and treats him like he can help.
she says she carried him while he “took a nap”, which from his reaction to what she said was probably not a nap.
she always takes him seriously and doesn’t discount anything he says no matter what it sounds like on the surface.
but it’s also great because he listens to what she says too. she needs serious mission steven, so he does his best to be the best crystal gem he can be
i don’t know, i really like Garnet, and i really like the relationship between those two. it’s awesome. and it’s nice to see serious mission garnet smile and like Steven just the way he is
