Hell yeah, Espy! I’m glad I could help, even if just a little bit. Believe it or not, I went through something a little like what you’re up against right now, and it’s both terrifying and daunting. HOWEVER. This sounds cliche, but I mean it when I say there is hope, and it’s a hell of a lot closer than you’d ever think!
Even when everything seems scary and dim, just take a look and you’ll see you got people all around, ready to take up arms against the struggles you face. I can’t be there in person, but I’m always with you in spirit and in vigor. When things get too real and too nerve-wracking, turn to the people who care about you. Getting help can be one of the hardest decisions you ever make, but it’s the thing that will set your sails and send you careening in the right direction. You’re sailing into a bit ol’ unknown, but that’s not always a bad thing, you know? Because once you let yourself get out there and see the world, you’re gonna find that paradise island waiting at the end.
There’ll be storms, by and large. Sometimes you’ll get strewn off course and maybe even going back from where you came. But storms pass and you can correct yourself. It’s never too late to keep heading to your destination. It’s never too late to turn around and keep going. And even if you get a little roughed up in the storm and exhausted from the journey, you’re gonna reach that destination and you’re gonna look back at the ocean you crossed, and you’re gonna own it.
Because you’re a motherfucking overcomer and nobody can rob you of that.
It just takes a bit of a journey to get there, you know?
