Sonny’s ears instantly pricked up at this. He flew up into a sitting position, suddenly very much interested. “Oh? Responsible for what..sis?” She had to be talking about responsible for them meeting, or getting together. Even though he remembered quite clearly that they had met on their own terms. No one had been involved. Even so, maybe Adelia had talked to Malina beforehand? Yes….that had to be it…she couldn’t possibly be insinuating anything else…..
She took a deep breath, though is was calculated just like everything else about her. The way she daintily filled pastries as she remained turned away from them.
“Rodney voted against Malina. She probably wouldn’t have gone home if he hadn’t.” she whispered, smiling slightly though he could not see.
