12. Ideas of a perfect date

Hm…. that’s a tough question. It’d probably go a little something like this.

We go out to lunch at their favorite restaurant and just talk about all the little things and silly things and funny things.

Then we go to a movie that we both want to see. An afternoon showing so there’s almost nobody there and we can have a row to ourselves as he whisper back and forth about the movie. We eat a ton of popcorn even though we just ate lunch, since it’s a movie. You gotta have popcorn at a movie!

Then we go around downtown Edmonds and check out all the little shops. The candy shop, the antiques store, whatever tickles our fancy. We could walk down by the ferry dock, and take a walk on the beach.

Then when it’s evening, we go home and cook dinner together. For fun, we try to mix their favorite food and mine into one dish. Even if it turns out weird, it could be fun, right?

So after dinner we just cuddle up on the couch and watch some TV or play video games. Whatever they want to do, really, as long as we can cozy up together.
