“Besides winning? Well, isn’t that the only goal to be had?” he mused aloud. “I mean… it would be fun to meet some friends, make relationships and all that, but I can’t afford to get distracted, really. I have to win this…. to not would be more than a failure.” he said solemnly, then cracked a smile.
