Can I just say that one thing I love about robotics meets is that I can wear earplugs and nobody asks me why. It’s just a commonly known fact that the meets are too loud for some people and earplugs are a safety precaution that allow people to keep having fun even when the pits or stands get uber loud and hyper.

Why can’t people in every other setting grasp this? I would,wear earplugs all the time in public if it didn’t cause people to constantly ask me why.
