I Hath Returned

Hey all! I just got back from my week-long missions trip to Cancun, Mexico. And when I say I just got back, I mean I walked through the door to my house literally a half hour ago. XD

I had a beyond amazing time and went through a ton of new experiences. I can honestly say I’m not quite the same Jack that I was a week ago.

I did a ton of ministry and helped convert people to the Gospel of Christ. To be able to share testimonies and the Word of God with them was a priceless opportunity, and I even brought my bilingual Bible so I could read verses in their own language.

My Spanish skills are holding up pretty good; I was able to have conversations with most people I met, which was fantastic!

In terms of manual labor, my group helped build a road in one of the poor neighborhoods, then helped with construction of a church/children’s home for the families in the area who need it.

I’m glad to be back, but will miss my time in Mexico quite a bit. I got some cool souveniers, one of which being a sunburn.

Anywho, I’m back now, and the usual grumping will continue!
