I know I post a lot about my room and all my manga and stuff and I know it seems excessive sometimes but I’m just so excited when I get new bookshelves or rearrange it because this is my palace.

Like, this is the only place in the world I feel completely safe and relaxed. Being someone with various anxiety disorders, it’s my everything to have a little room filled to the brim with games and books and a nice cozy chair. It’s my everything to know I can come home from a rough day and just curl up with whatever book I’m craving, because they’re all here! It’s my everything to escape reality and watch all my favorite shows and whatnot. It’s my little palace that keeps me safe from all my mundane worries and concerns; I’m so in love with my little room because it’s mine and it’s full of all my favorite things that I’ve spent years collecting. A good 75% of the things in here were bought with my own money, much of which I earned through good grades or working at the restaurant.

I guess my point is stop giving me crap about how much I post about my room. It’s my palace and I’m very proud of it and I love to gush about my safe space.
