If you aren’t Japanese, don’t call shit “kawaii”.

I remember one of my facebook friends wrote this great rant about how “kawaii” actually has a bunch of subtext within the Japanese language, and how it’s much more than one word. So basically, whenever you use “kawaii” as a synonym for “cute”, you’re not only appropriating Japanese culture, you’re being horrifically linguistically incorrect.
