I just can’t get over how much I love Steven Universe. It’s simple and doesn’t rely on innuendos or toilet humor. It doesn’t try to be overly zany or quirky, and it even has some more serious moments without taking itself too seriously. It’s funny, cute, and even a little bittersweet all at once. It seamlessly offers a cast of diverse female leads that’s how a variety of body types, skin tones, and temperaments.
