Attack on Titan and Death Note are published in Shounen Jump, a children’s manga magazine aimed towards younger boys.

Fullmetal Alchemist was published in Monthly Shounen Gangan, also a children’s manga magazine aimed towards younger boys.

Plus on Japan, where this content originated, what’s deemed appropriate for kids is different than in America. From what I understand, sexual themes and some violence are normally acceptable for young audiences, whereas in America the slightest hint of sexuality is something we must burrow our children from. So, yeah, honestly anime is for kids. It just doesn’t seem that way to Americans because of cultural norms.

It doesn’t mean I’ll stop watching anime by any means, but it is meant for kids.
