However I never had a flu vaccine. My mom couldn’t afford it and she didn’t think it was necessary because she never got the vaccines and never had the flu. I was the same way. My grandma on the other hand gets the flu vaccine every year and also gets the flu every year, so mom thought it wasn’t effective.
