I kind of like the name Jax. I mean, Jack it my preferred name, but Jax is so closed to Jack that I’m more than okay with my mom using it for now. That’s way more progress than I thought she’d ever make, especially by letting me go by Jax at work. o3o

My dad is doing a much better job with using either Jack or Jackson.

Sadly neither will touch the concept of pronouns, not even gender neutral ones…. but we’re getting somewhere. It’s been a year and a half since I came out.

I’m turning in 18 in November, so I’m sticking it out until the end of senior year, then before I go to college I plan to discreetly change my legal name to Jackson Christopher Ramirez.

Then after that… in college I’m going to see a gender therapist, and hopefully get approval for T soon enough after that, though I’ve heard it can take a lot of time…

As for surgery, I’m going to get top surgery when I’m financially able to. I only have $700 saved up… and I’ll be paying completely out of pocket. Maybe I’ll try a donation thing when the time comes, but nobody would probably donate…. and I feel kind of bad taking other peoples’ money….

I never want to get bottom surgery. Honestly, if anything I’ll just get my uterus removed. But I don’t have plans to get bottom surgery.

I don’t know how this ended up as a post about my plans for my transition, but here it is.
