"Yo, whats up my home slices?! Welcome to TDT LiveChat! I am your champion…I mean host, Kelsey!" Kelsey exclaimed as she walked on the stage. "Let me tell you, I am SO excited for this next guest."
"Back from season two, I’d like to welcome my personal friend and favorite magician of all time, The Fabulous Bastien!" She announced, having trouble containing her own excitement.
The crowd cheered wildly as the total drama theme song began to blare over the speakers.
At first, nobody appeared. The cue music blared loudly, now becoming an awkward anthem as heavy seconds ticked by. The crowd slowly quieted, and soon it was silent, save for the catchy theme playing at a deafening decibel.
The audience members began to look towards one another, perplexed expressions painted across their faces.
The theme soon ended, and an unbearable silence hung in the air. Each moment that passed became increasingly unbearable. The camera man, who was switching the focus from Kelsey to stage right, was sweating bullets.
Then, after the audience couldn’t have possibly been more unsettled, a small creature came out from stage right. The camera quickly focused on it, and it became apparent that a snake was on stage. A few of the audience members gasped and shrieked, while others merely observed in befuddlement.
The snake slithered gracefully across the stage, pausing as it reached the couch for the intervewees to sit upon. The snake lifted it’s smooth head up, poising itself in a ninety-degree angle. Then, it suddenly twisted and contorted, still leaving a third of it’s body on the ground so it could balance.
After a few seconds of noiseless contortions, the music began blaring out the speakers again, but this was no longer the Total Drama theme song.
Now, the catchy B.o.B. song, “I’ve got the Magic in Me” began to burst from the speakers. The audience was surprised, but quickly looked back to the snake in puzzlement. The critter had twisted itself into the letter “B”, and the snake then cocked its head forward. Its mouth opened, jaws unhinged and revealing impressive fangs. Then, smoke began to pour out.
The blue smoke billowed out of the snake’s mouth, clouding the stage as the music played.
“Hello, hello! It is a pleasure to see you all here tonight!~” a chipper voice boomed out the speakers in addition to the music. The blue smoke began to clear, and the snake was gone. Instead, a tanned man with a top hat was in its place. He adjusted his lapel mic so it would no longer be so loud, and humbly bowed as the audience broke out into simultaneous laughter and applause at his routine.
Bastien then turned to Kelsey, and knelt down onto one knee before her.
“Long time no see, Miss~” he cooed. “Though I believe pink suits you better than red.” he added playfully, and winked. There was a red rose in Kelsey’s hair. When it got there was unbeknownst to all, but Bastien quickly plucked it out of her hair, swapping it with a pastel pink carnation.
“Ah, there we are.~ It may be almost fall, but a floral flair is never out of style!” he said, waving his arm flamboyantly be taking a seat on the couch and crossing his legs.
