Kelsey took the letter as a tear began to stream down her face. "That is probably one of the sweetest, most adorable things I have ever heard in my life” she said with a quivering lip.
She looked into the camera and smiled “Alicia, if you are watching this thank you! I will definitely be writing back!”
She then turned to Bastien “we should have the two of you come back for a performance debut, given that her health is permitting” she said as she wiped away her tear.
Bastien smiled warmly, procuring a handkerchief out of thin air. He handed it to Kelsey so she could dry her tears.
“I’m sure that would mean the world to her.” he said in a tone barely louder than a whisper. Had he not been wearing his lapel mic, the audience would have only seen the subtle movement of his lips.
Noticing the mood had grown rather sentimental, Bastien sat up straight, jostling the snake on his arm slightly. “Now then, pardon me for changing the mood so abruptly. Shall we continue this interview?” he said, tipping his hat to Kelsey.
