Kelsey smiled "Of course, sorry for that.”
She cleared her throat and looked at her cue cards: “So, here is a good question we got from a viewer: Bastien, If you could go back in time and do something differently during the competition in order to win, what would it be?”
Bastien paused upon hearing the question, furrowing his brows just slightly as he contemplated his answer. As he thought, a second snake slithered out from under his hat, now resting in his lap. He patted the head of the second snake, then nodded his head, reaching his answer.
“You see, Miss Kelsey, that question is not one that I can answer. Simply put, I refuse to live anywhere but the present. Pining to change the past is bad for your health, you know. Stressful and whatnot…. no, I do not ruminate on the past. I do not even like to look to the future. I am alive right now, and right now I shall remain.” he declared, crossing his arms.
“The only time one should even think of the past is to make a resolution for the present. Do not try to change what was, but use it to influence what is and what will be.” he said in a sagely tone. The snake coiled around his arm nodded its head in agreement.
