I apologize, I’m not very eloquent but ugh it just really pisses me off that we’re gonna see a shit ton of people wearing something special to us on Halloween for years to come until another unfortunate culture is robbed of their culture.
And I also don’t want to hear, oh but I really am celebrating Day of the Dead! Bullshit. Show me your altar. Where you at church with your day of the dead bread and portraits of you loved ones to be blessed? Did you spend days cleaning the tomb of your loved ones? Did you spend the day at the cemetery of your loved ones while keeping them company? Most likely, it’s a no.
