How is idiot ableist? I mean, I understand if the person is disabled and or has a learning disability, but if you're just calling someone who is not smart an idiot how is that offensive? I'm not trying to be rude I would just like to know

Although some don’t consider it ableist, a lot of people with mental disabilities are, and for that reason I’m teaching myself not to use it because I want all the people around me to feel welcomed and comfortable. ouo
