Health Resolutions for 2k15

I don’t even care that it’s been 2015 for like two weeks now. I’m making resolutions now because reasons. Anyways, these are both general resolutions/habits I suggest for everyone, and then some more person ones that I’ve thought about this evening. Maybe I’ll add more as I think of them?

I figure if I pick 4 or so to focus on every two months, that will be the best way to make good habits. It takes 3-6 weeks to form a habit, and I’m definitely on the 6 week end of the spectrum. XD

((Though some of these do depend on if you’re able-bodied, or the extent to which you are. IDK, these are mostly just for me, but things of the sort are good to try and implement in your life! A lot of it is obvious but neglected stuff that I really want to focus on in my life.))

For Everyone:

-Drink 64oz of water per day. Flavored water and zero-calorie Gatorade/Powerade/whatever counts as water, but juice or anything else doesn’t.

-Get 45-60 minutes of some cardio activity in every day. It can be split up into 10 minute spurts if necessary. Cardio = anything that makes you work up a sweat and raises your heart rate.

-Eat at least 60 grams of protein per day, and get it from different foods to keep variety. Don’t care about the fat content of natural foods, like meats, nuts, dairy products, and whatnot. Protein is IMPORTANT.

-Eat protein first during the snack/meal. Save less filling items like vegetables and fruits and whatnot for after you’ve eaten the protein, which will be what keeps you full.

-Never go more than 5 hours without eating. If you have to carry snacks in your bag/car/whatever, then do it. 

-Wear what makes you comfortable, in terms of clothes, makeup, haircuts, etc. Other peoples’ opinions are unimportant and unnecessary. 

-Wash and moisturize your face every day.
