Bastien RP Test

“Look very closely…. or don’t. Sometimes, you miss the magic if you’re looking too close.” he said in a suave tone, chuckling as he shuffled the cards in his hands. The cards danced about between his palms in a flurry, and the two young women watched in amazement. Once thoroughly mixed, Bastien spread the cards on a table, face down. Reaching forward, his hand drifted over the cards, as if his mind was guiding him to the correct card. He almost reached for one card, then shook his head. He then confidently grabbed a card near the left end of the row, and revealed.

“Is this your card?” he asked with a grin. The lady laughed, shaking her head. “No! It’s not even the right suit.” she said. “Oh, my apologies.” Bastien said, though he still had a smirk upon his face. He snapped his fingers, then turned and looked at the billboard above them. “How about there. Is that your card?” he asked, and the two women looked up to see the seven of diamonds across the billboard that had been an advertisement for McDonalds mere minutes ago. Their eyes grew wide and they demanded to know his secret.

“Secret? I have no secrets; just a great intuition and a little bit of magic.” he said, winking at the two. A crowd began to gather around him, and now the real show could begin.

So I’m honestly so terribly torn between submitting Adelia or Bastien for Total Drama Tumblr season 2; I think I’m going to try submitting RP excerpts for each of them and see which one feels right.
